Jiang Xin gets tricked again

Watch online on MapleStage. I’m getting really sick of Jiang Xin. I dislike her self-righteousness but lack of ability to protect herself or discern from good or bad. They make her sound so smart in the drama, but I guess that’s all academic because she really has no social intelligence. I mean, Ye Xin has outwardly tricked her and has been so horrible to her on so many fronts, I can’t believe she still trusts her.

This episode was so unbearable at the beginning… Bai Lang stood at the altar and subjected himself to ridicule just to prove to Jiang Xin that he is truly sorry for what he’s done.

My heart is breaking. He even especially invited his obnoxious ex and brought along a lot of reporters so he could publicly take responsibility for his mistake and apologize.

Adorable Chun Hua thought it would be a good idea to pretend to be Jiang Xin, because according to her logic, nobody could see the face clearly through the veil anyways.

$@#% Jiang Xin actually shows up to the wedding to officially break up with Bai Lang. She acknowledges that he was trying to apologize for what he did, but she couldn’t possibly forgive him because the damage is done. Jiang Xin don’t you understand you guys are the OTP and there’s no other guy that is more perfect for you?! Why must you do this?! You’re going to regret in the end! #blamechenyushan

And Jie Wen shows up at the church like an overprotective controlling boyfriend and takes Jiang Xin away by hand. It was such a heartbreaking moment for Bai Lang – I can’t even. Jie Wen needs to get out of the picture.

They go by a ‘cliff’ to talk about feelings but it is so obviously badly done CGI I don’t even know why they had to attempt something so tacky. Why not just in front a building or something? It makes the production look cheap. Again #blamechenyushan.

Jiang Xin moves out of Jie Wen’s place (thank god!) and decides to work at the Ye Family factory, an idea proposed by Ye Xin. I mean, a lot of red flags are raised already with her first impression with the factory with mistreated sick workers and unfair conditions listed in the contract (the factory is not responsible for deaths?) but Jiang Xin goes ahead and signs it, because you know, drama.

The people in the Bai family hold a very cute ‘intervention’ for Bai Lang to get over Jiang Xin. He’s not having any of it, especially when they come up with an English name for each one of them – his was Qi Fu, which was a homonym in Chinese for abandoned husband. It was a such a cute scene. This is why you need to return to the Bai family Jiang Xin!!!

In their last attempt to reconcile Bai Lang and Jiang Xin, they decide to lightly poison Bai Lang and get him into the hospital, so that Jiang Xin would visit him. I love the Bai family so much, as well as Bai Lang. I would actually be ok if she returned to the Bai mansion and the drama ended there. I’m so attached to those characters that it would kill me if anything bad happened to them.

The scene ends with Jiang Xin fainting, and the supervisor decides to throw her into a rat-infested room. The rats carry infectious disease.

TRAILER 25

Omg can tomorrow come any faster? The trailer includes an incredibly adorable scene with Bai Lang and Jiang Xin. Bai Lang must have ended into the hospital from the poisoning from the Bai family, and his hair looks so cute not done and messy. Jiang Xin was yelling and freaking out, and Bai Lang’s only way to deal with her was to… kiss her?

Can we just stop the drama right there please? And you two just get married? I secretly really hope that she’s pregnant (from that night that they had together) and so they’ll have children together and be a happy Bai family.

But nope, Jie Wen walks in on them. And it’s all awkward and stuff. Jie Wen also gets kidnapped inside the trailer but who cares about him?

The last screenshots are just Jiang Xin getting framed for stealing other worker’s salaries, and she gets thrown into an isolated room with no food and no water. The supervisor’s attempting to dehydrate/starve her to death. I wish that she could just come to terms sooner with her love to Bai Lang already… any more of these ‘obstacles’ will just be really annoying and tedious.
